Hello RESET Parents!

School is back in full swing which means the RESET Student Ministry is gearing up for an awesome Fall! We’re so excited to have your students with us again for the beginning of what’s going to be an action-packed year.

RESET Parent Night will be September 18th from 6:30 to 7:30 PM in the Youth Room.

Parent Night
is our (highly encouraged) informational meeting about all things Asbury RESET:

Time & Scheduling Changes
Programs & Events
Retreats
Mission Trips
Fundraising Opportunities
Church League Basketball
Volunteering Opportunities
Q & A Session

We have two goals for Parent Night:

  1. Inform you about what we’re doing as a ministry now.
  2. Cast vision for where we’re going as a ministry in the future.

Think of it as a really cool, exciting, and engaging parent-teacher conference. (Except your kids aren’t in trouble, its not a one-on-one scenario, and our chairs are much more comfortable than those desks.)

We would love for each student to be represented by at least one parent. This allows us all to get on the same page concerning the growth of your student, and also help us as a staff to partner with you as you walk through the journey of raising a teenager. (Let’s be real. You’re heroes simply for taking that on!)

Feel free to bring your students and/or younger children to the meeting as well. We understand that you have families and multiple things going on at once, so if the toddlers or elementary school kiddos need to tag along, bring them! It will be a very casual environment. However, know that childcare will not be provided.

We look forward to seeing you at Parent Night to talk about what RESET is doing, and dream about where RESET is going.

You are the number one influence in your child’s life, so no matter what, we can’t do this without you!

We pray for you and your students daily, and we cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for us all this school year.

Blessings,
