Sunday School

We will offer three classes each seven weeks (called a Sunday school semester).  We will have a Sunday assembly on the first Sunday of the semester for students to hear about the different class studies that will be offered and sign-up for a class.  All three classes will be open to all 7th-12th grade students.  We split the classes into three categories: 101, 102, and 103.   The 101 class is for all faith levels, what we call "Checking Out The View" and "Choosing The Path" in our Discipleship Pathway.  The 102 class is for those a little more advanced in their faith journey, what we call "Climbing The Mountain" in our Discipleship Pathway.  The 103 class is for those who are looking for ways to serve others, what we call "Charting The Way" in our Discipleship Pathway.  No matter which class you choose, there is a place for you.  At the end of the semester, students will be able to pick a new study.  This semester the 101 and 102 classes are open to all youth (7th-12th graders).

Current Semester: Spring 1 (March 12-April 30)

Youth Sunday School Class 101- Mosaic (7th-12th Grade)

Just choosing to follow Jesus isn’t enough. But for many teenagers, the choices that come along with living for Jesus can be unpopular and difficult. Their own doubts, fears, and disbelief often get in the way of the amazing things God wants to do through them. Misfit helps teens see what it means to be a misfit like Jesus was, and gives them tools to make world-changing decisions even when it seems like they’re going the opposite direction of the world around them. In this practical study, teens will discover that they don’t have to conform to the rest of the world, and they’ll recognize that they can actually work to change the things in the world that are wrong.

Youth Sunday School Class 102- Revival (7th-12th Grade)

Wesley's message and his faith continue to speak to 21st-century Christians - calling for a revival of our hearts and souls so that our world might be changed.

Join Adam Hamilton for a six-week journey as he travels to England, following the life of John Wesley and exploring his defining characteristics of a Wesleyan Christian. Wesley's story is our story. It defines our faith and it challenges us to rediscover our spiritual passion.

Youth Sunday School Class 103- Children’s Ministry Aid (7th-12th Grade)
The Student Ministry and Children’s Ministry have teamed up to offer students the chance to service within the Children’s Ministry by being an aid for a children’s Sunday school class.  Youth will be able at the beginning of the Fall 1 Semester to sign-up and serve in the Children’s Ministry for the seven week period.  We will have ten open positions each semester.  The application to sign-up to be a Children’s Ministry Aid can be found online or picked up from Maggie Ward’s office.
